OneTapWeb is a web design and development studio based in Eastleigh, Hampshire. Every site is designed and coded in-house, and so is the software behind it: the booking, quoting, invoicing and payment tools our clients use every day.

When you get in touch, you speak to the people building your site. There's no ticket queue and no outsourcing. If something needs changing, tell us and it gets changed.

    We build a draft, you check it

    You'll see a working draft within a day or so, and we'll keep changing it until you're happy with it.

  3. Step 3

    It goes live

    It goes up on your own domain, set up so Google can find it, with your tools switched on.

Is it just a website?
No. The website is what customers see. Behind it there's a hub that can take bookings, send quotes and invoices, take card payments and run an online shop or food ordering, and all your enquiries land in the same place. You run it from one login on your phone, and you only pay for the plan that suits your business.
What do I actually pay for?
One monthly fee covers the website, domain, hosting, SSL, security, backups, email support and a couple of content updates a month, like changing a price, swapping a photo or updating your hours. There's nothing else to pay for the site.
What if I need more updates or something bespoke?
You can add extra content updates and priority support for a small monthly top-up. Branding, promotional material and custom software built around how you work are one-off projects. Just ask and we'll quote for it.
How long does it take?
Most sites are live within 48 hours of you sending your details. If you want changes after that, we'll keep going until it's right.
What if I don't know what I want?
We'll put a draft together based on your business and you tell us what to change. You don't need any technical knowledge, just an opinion.
Do I own the website?
Yes. You can register the domain in your own name from the start, or we'll register and renew it for you as part of the monthly fee. If you ever leave, we'll transfer it to you free of charge.
What about Google?
Every site goes out with the SEO basics done: meta tags, schema markup and fast loading. Google usually picks a new site up within a few days. If you want to push further, ongoing SEO is £10 a month. We set up service and area pages, structured data and your reviews with no upfront charge, then send a monthly report and make the changes that come out of it.
Can I take bookings or payments?
Yes, on every plan except Sites. Trades sends quotes and BACS invoices, Beauty takes online bookings and card payments, Shops sells products through a Stripe checkout and Food takes collection orders. If you don't need any of that yet, start on Sites and move up when you do.
Can you host a website I already have?
Yes. Hosting on its own is £5 a month, or £10 for WordPress sites. We move the site across, set up SSL, take daily backups and keep it patched, and there's no contract.
Do you work with WordPress?
Yes. We build new WordPress sites, take over existing ones, host them on our own UK servers and look after updates, security and backups for £10 a month. Busy sites and WooCommerce shops can have a server of their own.
